GENERAL INFORMATION


In physics department undergraduate education was started in 1983 and postgraduate education was started in 1985. Our graduates, besides getting experimental and theoretical physics knowledge, they also get knowledge about computer (hardware and software), electronics and medical physics topics by taking compulsory and elective courses. Therefore, graduated students can be employed in private and government companies related to computers, electronics and medical science.

In the MSc and PhD programs of the department, following experimental and theoretical studies are performed:
