W katalogu przedmiotów każdemu przedmiotowi przypisano kod literowo-cyfrowy.

Wyjaśnienie zapisów kodu obrazuje poniższy przykład:

Przedmiot Oczyszczanie ścieków ma oznaczenie kodowe 06.4-WILŚ-IS-OŚ-1-01-01.

Kolejne elementy kodu oznaczają:

06.4 - hhh

WILŚ - oznacza nazwa wydziału – Wydział Inzybierii Łądowej i Środowiska

^ IS - oznacza kierunek studiów – Inżynieria Środowiska

OŚ- pierwsze litery nazwy przedmiotu - Oczyszczanie Ścieków

1 - Pierwsza cyfra po kodzie literowym oznacza przeznaczenie przedmiotu dla danej specjalności (1 – przedmioty wspólne dla kierunku na I stopniu studiów; 2 - oznacza przedmioty wspólne dla kierunku na II stopniu studiów (dla wszystkich specjalności ZWUSIO SOS i US), 3 - oznacza przedmioty tylko dla specjalności ZWUSIO, 4 - przedmioty tylko dla specjalności SOS, 5 – przedmioty tylko dla specjalności US.

Kolejne dwie cyfry oznaczają numer przedmiotu na planie studiów stacjonarnych. Litera przy numerze (A, B ….) oznacza przedmiot obieralny, a kolejne litery przedmioty do wyboru.
